Thailand is one of the most exotic and developed countries in Asia (Southeast). In this amazing place, the most modern achievements of mankind peacefully coexist, including giant supermarkets, floating markets, Buddhist temples, skyscrapers and small settlements, as well as the ancient exoticism of the East.

The most optimal time of the year for a holiday in Thailand is winter. The temperature during this period of the year reaches 28 degrees above zero. It is also an advantage that there is no rain in Thailand in winter. The rainy season in Pattaya: June - October, in Koh Samui: October - November, and in Phuket: May - June.

To enter the territory of Thailand, you must apply for a visa. A visa is issued either in your city or directly upon arrival at the airport. The validity of the passport by this time must be at least half a year.

As for the places of recreation and tourism in Thailand, everyone decides for himself where to go / fly / swim. It all depends on what a person needs - a noisy metropolis, settlements in the outback or a "party" resort. One of the most popular places is Phuket Island, which was destroyed by the tsunami in 2004 and later rebuilt. Now there is no trace of the tragedy. A large number of tourists staying on the island staying in hotels, of which there are quite a few. One of the city's attractions is Patong Entertainment Street. The beach on Patong Street is wide and made of fine sand. Some of the best beaches on this island are Karon beach and Kata beach. Sun loungers and umbrellas on these beaches are paid, the cost is about $ 5 (200 baht).

The most popular resort in Thailand is Pattaya Island. There is also an entertainment street - Patong. Most of the bars, nightclubs, all kinds of show-attractions are located there. Thai boxing, by the way, which is shown there, is the main show and it is better not to bet on it, since the organizers will make a greater profit for themselves in any case. The entrance to most of the clubs is paid. Most of the hotels are located across the street from the beach. The sea is cleaner in the South of the island than in the North (in the North it is muddy due to the fine sand). For swimming in the southern part, you can buy a full day excursion.

Another famous island is Koh Samui. It is famous for its wide beaches of fine sand and clear sea, unlike Pattaya. It is clean because of the rare waves. Fans of outdoor activities on this island should stay at the hotel on the Chaweng beach, which is full of entertainment, such as bars, clubs.

For lovers of modern metropolises - welcome to Bangkok. This city will amaze anyone with its contrast. The first thing that surprises is the neighborhood of sparkling skyscrapers and gray neighborhoods - slums. We must not forget that traffic in Thailand is left-hand and very intensive, therefore you need to be very careful on the roads. Bangkok, unlike the resort islands, is the most appetizing place for those who like to buy souvenirs, since the prices are the lowest in it, and you can bargain and bring down the price quite well. To get around the city, if you don't want to walk, you can take a taxi or “tuk-tuk” (local minibus). When traveling, the price must be agreed immediately. In order not to get lost, you need to take the business card of the hotel in which you are staying (as a rule, there is a map of the hotel location on its back side). As for the sights in Bangkok, these are the Royal Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, excursions along the canals of Bangkok. At Bayoke sky you can dine on the observation deck, which offers great views of the city.

Holidays in Thailand, coupled with the warmth and hospitality of Thais, will leave only the most positive and vivid impressions.
