The fauna is represented by a wide variety of species: African weasel, Dominican gull, ostrich, olive woodpecker, dolphin, whale, killer whale, otter and many others. A laboratory for the study of endangered fish species is based in the reserve.

Dragon mountains

A mountain range passing through the territory of South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland. In the language of the local tribe, the name of the chain sounds like "Kwathlamba", which means "rocky place".
