The Bangkok Tourism Authority has decided to boost the country's popularity with an unusual project. It will be focused on those categories of travelers who would like to learn more about the country's agro-industrial complex. In addition, officials sincerely hope that the proceeds will help improve the economic situation of poor rural communities.

As part of the project, tourists will be invited to visit one of several villages, stroll through the flowering gardens and see how rice is grown on local farms. This is a unique opportunity to look into the depths of the real life of ordinary Thais.

The villages are located along the Mahasawat canal, where all conditions are created for growing fruits, rice, and huge orchid plantations. The local ponds are decorated with thousands of blooming lotuses. Guests will be offered to walk along the canal on boats, visit local gardens and get acquainted with the unusual technique of growing agricultural products, which has been passed down from generation to generation for many centuries in a row.

In the special center Ban Saladin, all guests will be invited to take part in the preparation of national dishes, as well as learn the craft. The organizers are convinced that such an unusual tourist project will allow Bangkok guests to look at other aspects of Thai life, imbued with their traditions and learn about the oldest customs. After all, it is the farming communities that are the main unit of Thai society.

In addition to the walk itself, guests will be able to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at the lowest prices, which will allow farmers to receive an additional source of income.

Let us remind you that the "agroproject" is not the only program to popularize Thailand among tourists. There are other similar projects aimed at attracting tourists from all over the world.
