Material information

Somewhere in the middle of summer (July 6-14), a festival rages on the streets of Pamplona, held in honor of Saint Fermin, the bishop who saved this city from the plague. It is noisy, cheerful, colorful and ... bloody. Indeed, on these summer days in Pamplona, not only are church services held in honor of St. Fermin, but also carnivals and traditional bullfights, which are so fond of hot Spaniards, and for which the country of Spain is so famous throughout the world.

And Pamplona itself is famous for its famous ensierros - the morning races of angry bulls along the narrow, fenced streets of the city. In the early morning hours, the locked bulls are traditionally released into the streets of Pamplona to be driven to the bullfight. At this time, reckless extreme daredevils are trying to run ahead of the bulls. And crowds of spectators take seats on balconies, rooftops and even lampposts to admire this dangerous sight.

This part of the Saint-Fermin festival attracts crowds of tourists from all over the world to Pamplona. But desperate attempts to take part in the ensierro end tragically for many of them. Every year, one of the arrogant tourists dies, not having time to escape from the bulls. Many become crippled ... That is why all tourists who decide to visit the bull races in Pamplona should familiarize themselves in detail with the rules of conduct on them, as well as really realize what risk they will put their lives and health at by deciding to take part in the ensierro.

The senseless human sacrifices, as well as the blood of innocent bulls, cause indignation among many people. Opponents of bullfighting have long been demanding a ban on bullfights and are constantly staging protests against the bloody Spanish fun. However, the residents of Pamplona still manage to defend their rights to this beautiful, mesmerizing, but extremely cruel sight ...

It is worth saying that the Saint-Fermin festival is not only bullfighting, ensierro and other bloody fun with bulls. There are also crowds of Pamplonians in traditional white shirts and red scarves, somewhat resembling pioneer ties of the Soviet era. This is a sea of wine, which is not only drunk, but poured directly onto themselves. These are music concerts, mask parades and fireworks. So at the Saint-Fermin festival, bloody shows are mixed with fun entertainment.

And everyone chooses for himself how to spend time on the noisy and hot July days in Pamplona ...
